About Us:
Kaimuki Business & Professional Association (KBPA)
The
Kaimuki Business & Professional Association was formed in 1946 to
address the needs of Kaimuki's emerging business community. Having
been around for 60 years, KBPA and its members have seen quite a few
changes. From the creation of the H-1 freeway which "bypassed" Kaimuki
to the soon to be installed attendant parking system in the municipal
lots, KBPA has been there.
Today, unique restaurants and businesses are a hallmark of Kaimuki and KBPA strives to establish our town as a destination for residents and visitors alike.
KBPA events involve participants from Businesses, Professionals and the Community. Among the annual events that KBPA organizes or sponsors are: The Kaimuki Christmas Parade (one of the oldest in the state), the Halloween Costume contest, the Easter Egg Hunt and the KBPA Academic Scholarship.
KBPA has added Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila to it's list of annual "signature" Kaimuki events.
