About Us:
Kaimuki Business & Professional Association (KBPA)

The Kaimuki Business & Professional Association was formed in 1946 to address the needs of Kaimuki's emerging business community.   Having been around for 60 years, KBPA and its members have seen quite a few changes.  From the creation of the H-1 freeway which "bypassed" Kaimuki to the soon to be installed attendant parking system in the municipal lots, KBPA has been there.

Today, unique restaurants and businesses are a hallmark of Kaimuki and KBPA strives to establish our town as a destination for residents and visitors alike.

KBPA events involve participants from Businesses, Professionals and the Community.  Among the annual events that KBPA organizes or sponsors are:  The Kaimuki Christmas Parade (one of the oldest in the state), the Halloween Costume contest, the Easter Egg Hunt and the KBPA Academic Scholarship.

KBPA has added Celebrate Kaimuki Kanikapila to it's list of annual "signature" Kaimuki events.

KBPA Foundation

KBPA Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established to maintain an educational scholarship fund, to promote activities where the community can come together to enhance and enrich its well-being, and to support and cooperate with other non-profit corporations and community groups in furtherance of joint, charitable, literary, education and scientific purposes.

CKK Committee

CKK Committee members consist of committed individuals who work or live in Kaimuki.  Members share a deep comment to the well-being of Kaimuki and the community at large.  Members also believe in Kaimuki's unique "sense of place".   The 23 members of committee serve on one of 8 subcommittees.  All members volunteer their time.
